The Brief
Benchmark General Contractors have been crafting unique, beautiful custom homes and inspiring workplaces since 1984. Since their previous website was approaching 10 years old, it was time for a much-needed update for both content and design as well as usability.
Our Approach
Since the previous website utilized an older, out-dated content management system, we knew right off we’d be building a new website from the ground up with WordPress. Utilizing the newly written copy provided by PKE Marketing Solutions and new photography, we quickly went to work showcasing new projects and beautiful exteriors on the home page. We also incorporated into the home page the latest news feed from the News/Blog page. For the Commercial, Residential and Renovations pages we also incorporated Featured projects for each with photos and a brief writeup in addition to the content and photo gallery. Each page of the new website features multiple call to actions as well as contact information displayed and an easy way to get in touch.
The Result
The new website is modern and clean and features beautiful photography of the homes and commercial buildings that Benchmark has produced through the years. The site is easy to navigate on desktop computers as well as tablets and phones.
