The Brief
Lumina News was looking to create an updated online newspaper site that still felt like physical newspaper but would be responsive to the latest website design features.
Our Approach
The goal of the website is both to have a modern feel that would stand the test of time while still having a newspaper feel.
Our plan was to build a website that allowed the client to add newspaper articles with ease as well as allowed the audience navigate the site easily while finding the articles they were interested in.
We created the homepage much like a printed newspaper. The header includes the most recent date and the sections included the latest news at the top with other popular categories of articles.
The menu allows users to navigate to different categories of articles and brings them to streamlined category pages that showcase the latest articles for that category while also allowing for unobtrusive potential advertising space.
The Result
